Job Description
Assistant/Associate Professor - Movement Science – Outdoor Leadership (Tenure-Track)

The Movement Science, Sport and Leisure Studies Department is looking for an energetic, experienced faculty member to direct our interdisciplinary Wilderness Leadership (Outdoor Leadership) program. The successful candidate will play a significant role in curriculum revision. The department emphasizes service learning and collaboration with other faculty and students. The teaching load will consist primarily of program specific courses, with other department courses as needed. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Assistant/Associate Professor - Movement Science - Pedagogy (Tenure-Track)

The Movement Science, Sport and Leisure Studies Department is looking for an energetic faculty member to join our team and play a significant role in curriculum development for an exceptional physical education program within a dynamic department. Someone with public school and higher education teaching experience who will inform program development and State and National accreditation is highly desired. The department emphasizes service learning and collaboration with other faculty and students. The teaching load will consist primarily of pedagogy courses and practicum supervision, with other department courses as needed. This full-time, tenure-track position also provides opportunity to teach and develop curriculum in the graduate program.

NOTES: 2 openings.
Additional Salary Information: Commenserate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate is required (ABD considered).
