Job Description
Tenure-track position in health education available August 19, 2010. Responsibilities: teaching school health education professional preparation courses with emphasis on teaching methods and materials, coordinated school health programs, methods and materials using technology, elementary school health program, and health content courses; scholarly activity; service.

Requirements
Minimum qualifications: all requirements for doctoral degree in health education/promotion or closely related field completed by August 19, 2010; minimum of one year of K-12 health classroom teaching experience; hold/have held a certification or licensure for teaching; successful college or university teaching experience. Preferred qualifications: experience in using multimedia and computer applications in distance education; additional years of successful teaching experience; experience teaching health content courses such as drug education or sexuality; C.H.E.S. or C.H.E.S. eligible.
